Located in Stanwood, in the Viking Village, our Farmers Market features vendors selling local farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, baked goods and other specialty foods along with educational activities, entertainment and concession-style food.
A new cooperative food hub is under development in Snohomish County. The proposed facility will be a center for the production of value-added and niche-market agricultural products and business incubation support, with a strong retail and educational component.
In addition to a Farmers Market, the food hub would provide a commercial kitchen where local farmers and food processors would be able to can, bottle, label, bake, freeze, dehydrate and cure food and get help with their business.
Are you a singer? A musican? Or just want to be a star?
Then we need YOU as a performer at our Farmers' Markets this year! Interested performers can take 1 hour slots and may set out a tip jar and sell CDs. We have a small stipend that we pay per one-hour time slot, not per musician. We can take soloists, duets, or trios with low amplification. The Market supplies an 10'x10' overhead canopy and two 110V outlets. To sign up contact market manager, Leslie Collings or call (360) 202-3932 for more information.
