Rain or shine farmers will welcome you to their farms so come prepared to have fun and get a little mud on your shoes. Farms will be open to the public from 10am to 5pm on May 11th and 10am to 4pm on May 12th.

Port Susan Food & Farming Center

A new cooperative food hub is under development in Snohomish County. The proposed facility will be a center for the production of value-added and niche-market agricultural products and business incubation support, with a strong retail and educational component.

In addition to a Farmers Market, the food hub would provide a commercial kitchen where local farmers and food processors would be able to can, bottle, label, bake, freeze, dehydrate and cure food and get help with their business.

Port Susan Farmers Market – Every Friday from 3pm ~ 7pm July 5 – October 18, 2013

Conveniently located in Stanwood just off Highway 532 in the Viking Village, the Port Susan Farmers Market features vendors selling local farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, poultry, eggs, honey, baked goods and other specialty foods such as hand-crafted BBQ sauces, spice rubs, gourmet pasta and homemade jams. The Market offers educational programming with family-friendly activities that focus on food culture and nutrition, entertainment and concession-style food so customers can relax, enjoy music and have a bite to eat.
