Every Friday at the Port Susan Farmers Market you can shop for the freshest local produce, flowers, and artisanal foods, as well as hand-crafted items from local artists. You can find inspiration and instruction at one of the cooking demonstrations given by our Chef at the Market, while kids will find fun, educational activities at the Sprouting Healthy Kids tent. Everyone can enjoy dinner from one of our prepared-food vendors and music from local performers.

Our market is devoted to Washington State farmers and small food businesses. Farmers, fishers, ranchers, foragers, food processors and prepared food vendors will always occupy at least seventy percent of our market spaces, with sellers offering what they grow or produce: fruits, vegetables, nuts, meats, poultry, eggs, seafood, cheese, honey, nursery stock, cut flowers and processed farm products such as jams, preserves, ciders, sausages, fresh breads, baked goods, confections and other specialty foods.

The remaining thirty percent of vendors include non-profit organizations and hand-crafted arts, crafts, bath and body products, fiber arts, and books from local authors. No space is given to wholesalers, nor to vendors of imported or second-hand items. The primary purpose of our markets is to enable local farmers and food processors to sell directly to the public what they produce.

Come and meet us at the market! We are in Stanwood, a charming, small town with friendly people, unique shops and homey restaurants, situated on one of Washington’s most treasured natural resources, Port Susan Bay. Conveniently located in the parking lot next to the Amtrak train station in East Stanwood at 8727 271st NW, Stanwood, WA 98292, the market is open every Friday, from June 2nd through October 13th 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
